Welcome to ShopAurora. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our platform. By accessing or using ShopAurora, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Account Registration

To use ShopAurora, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services.

2. Merchant Responsibilities

As a merchant on ShopAurora, you are solely responsible for:

• Your Content: Ensure you have the rights to all products, images, and descriptions you post.
• Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including consumer protection and tax laws in your jurisdiction.
• Fulfillment: Promptly fulfilling orders and handling customer support, returns, and refunds.

3. Fees and Payments

• Platform Commission: ShopAurora charges a flat 4% commission on every transaction facilitated through our platform. This fee is automatically deducted at the time of payment processing.
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g., Paystack). By using ShopAurora, you agree to the terms of service of these processors.
• Settlements: Funds (minus our commission and processor fees) are settled to your linked bank account or mobile money wallet according to the processor's schedule.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use ShopAurora to sell or promote:

• Illegal drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances.
• Weapons, ammunition, or explosives.
• Counterfeit goods or items infringing on intellectual property.
• Adult content or services.
• Any other items deemed inappropriate or illegal by ShopAurora in our sole discretion.

5. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you upload to your store. By uploading it, you grant ShopAurora a license to host, display, and distribute it solely for the purpose of moving your store.

Our Rights: ShopAurora owns all rights, title, and interest in the platform, including software, designs, and trademarks. You may not copy, modify, or engineer our code.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activity. You may cancel your account at any time via the Dashboard settings.

7. Limitation of Liability

ShopAurora allows you to create an online store, but we are not a party to the transactions between you and your buyers. We are not liable for any disputes, claims, losses, injuries, or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with these transactions.

Our Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes (e.g., via email or dashboard notification). Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
